Nike Air Force 1 "Torii Hunter"
World renowned sneaker customizer, JGoods, recently collaborated with Torii Hunter on a special 1 of 1 shoe package. Through the design process, Torii revealed his passion for baseball, his family and spoke often of his Bentley. Not as a material object but as a token of his achievements. Something which seemed unattainable for most of his life was made possible by pursuing his dreams and doing what he loves to do.
Modeled around the the elegant lines and iconic grill of the Bentley, the base Air Force one was contrived in a simple black, grey, silver and white colorway. The forefoot was given a color change and detailed with the JGoods moniker in the classic Bentley font. The heel panel features the classic Bentley grill pattern with the number 48 emblazoned on either side. The footbeds are made of a fine Italian leather and printed with the names of Torii's 4 boys.
The shoes were packaged in a cotton shoe bag complete with Bentley leather detailing, Torii's number and a bag for extra shoe laces. All housed within a leather shoe box featuring a slightly modified version of the Bentley logo.
