I must have been way ahead of the curve because these are the Nike Women’s Skinny Dunk High. I think they overkilled the plaid but that’s just me. They come out in the spring.

“Teen Wolf” was not a good movie. Fur on sneakers is stupid. “Teen Wolf” came out in 1985. The Nike Dunk came out in 1985.

Idea: Let’s make a “Teen Wolf” Nike Dunk, limit them to 72 pairs, and charge $200 for them. I bet we could sell 72 guaranteed.

I’m very saddened by the release of these shoes. Of all the possible colorways in the world, this is your idea? Really? I hope who ever came up with these sends me an e-mail and explains his thought process on these. Any reasoning will do. The worst part of about these (besides the fur on the back) is that every pair will sell.

They are called the Nike Octagon One Piece Dunk Hi (released to coincide with the Olympics), and they are awesome.

These shoes are like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and frankly, I think they are unbelievably cool. From far away, I am sure they just look like a Dunk with some light colors on the upper. But seeing these up close is almost headache-inducing and somewhat mind-bending…in a good way.

These are like wearing a Roy Lichtenstein painting on your feet.

Additionally, the color choices work extremely well together. Nike is taking a chance on these, and depending on how they are received, I would not be surprised if we saw more shoes come out with this concept. (Think if they incorporate a fade to these…dear god that’d be sick.)

As is always the case with any cool shoe Nike puts out, these are available nowhere and surely cost more than is at all reasonable.
