I apologize for the delay in posting. Seeing as how everyone else that is a “writer” for this blog is obviously incredibly lazy, I realize it’s up to me to keep this place steeped in fresh content. The problem is this: not too much comes out nowadays that catches my eye. Making fun of Air Jordans is still enjoyable, but it gets a little stale, even if my writing is consistently hilarious. Very, very little has come out in the recent weeks and months that offers up anything new to the world of shoes. It just seems like we’re seeing the same designs (or hybrids of those designs) again and again. That shit is more boring than going to Sal’s Bar and NOT getting shitcanned.

So with all that said…it’s refreshing to see something new. A shoe company that makes something out of the norm with quality materials. Something like the Abington collection for Timberland.

These certainly won’t be for everyone, but they are definitely different than what we normally see Timberland put out. I applaud them for trying to move away from (or at least helping us forget) this type of shit:

*shudder*. Dear God.

Anywho, these shoes “premiered” (haha like a fucking movie or something) at Alife a week or two ago, so you’ll probably be hard-pressed to find these anywhere (obviously)…but if you find some, let me know. I’d like some of those brown roll tops.
