Justin Upton Throwback Day Game Cleats

Friday, September 9th, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be celebrating throwback day to pay homage to the 2001 World Series Championship team.

“Really, what this will do for our current team is send a message that’s something to aspire to,” D-backs president and CEO Derrick Hall said. “So I think our young players need to see these players celebrate once again on the field as one.”

Justin Upton, right fielder of the division leading Diamondbacks will be sporting a pair of cleats customized by JGoods. The cleats feature the throwback purple and teal colorway and the iconic sawtooth pattern on the three stripes. The backs of the shoes feature Justin’s number 10 set behind his name on the left and “JGoods” on the right.

Tune in at 9:40 PM ET tonight to catch Justin wearing the shoes as they take on the San Diego Padres.

Jermichael Finley “YOTTO” Game Worn Cleats

In case you missed the NFL season opener on Thursday, September 8th, here is a closer look at the shoes designed and customized for Jermichael Finley of the Green Bay Packers. YOTTO, which stands for Year Of The Takeover, is the prominent feature of the shoe signifying Jermichael’s return to the Pack after a season ending injury last year. Expect to see Jermichael catching plenty of TD passes this season from Aaron Rodgers, and don’t forget to keep an eye on his footwear game. Hopefully we don’t cost him too much money in fines.

To coincide with the release of the new web and packaging design, JGoods created a pair of shoes which were auctioned off last week at BJ Upton’s Charity Bowling event in Tampa. Some info on the event below as well as a few photos from the event.

Tampa Bay Rays’ center fielder, BJ Upton, hosted a charity bowling event at Splittsville to benefit the homeless through the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and two rec centers in St. Pete. The event featured autographed raffle items and appearances by former Rays’ pitcher Matt Garza, former Mets player, Gary Sheffield, and other professional sports players.
