Since the NFL continues to wind down and every team I like has lost, I’m gonna shift my focus to college basketball and all it has to offer. So im gonna rant a little bit, ya dig?
Things I like about College Basketball:
Steph Curry- Everybody loves Curry. They like the fact that he looks like he’s twelve but can still dominate a game that belongs to people who don’t look twelve. However one thing has been bothering me with Curry this year. Why does everyone feel the need to talk about why he won’t be a good pro after he has a big game? It’s really annoying. It’s like saying, “sure Randy Moss is a great player, but he’s not gonna make a very good NFL analyst”. Stop hatin’ and recognize.
Luke Harangody and anything that he does.
March Madness- I think we can all agree that along with fantasy football, brackets are the best way to feel involved in sports. “HAHAHAHA I knew Butler would beat Maryland!!!!!!TOLD YA!!!! I’m so super smart!!!!”
Watching players the Timberwolves can draft- This is an important one. Being from MN , there is not a need to be concerned with the T’Wolves. I’d rather watch the players they could potentially get so they can stop sucking. So I like watching Blake Griffin, he’s good. However, it scares me to death that the T’Wolves will draft Tyler Hansborough so that he and Kevin Love can form a super frontcourt that will rival that of Duncan and Robinson. Great things.
Christian Laetner highlights each March.
Things I don’t like:
Listening to Dick Vitale talk about UNC
Listening to Dick Vitale talk about Duke
Listening to Dick Vitale talk.
Bubble Teams- I can’t stand when each year coaches gripe about not making the tournament. Shut up, please. If you’re really not in the top 65, why are you whining? It’s not like you could actually win the tournament. You don’t have Luke Harangody on your team.
Athlete-Students- This being the opposite of student-athlete.(See how I did that?) You are in college to study. Go to class and pay attention or go play in Europe. Stop wasting our teacher’s time.
There it is. Check back this week for ground breaking NFL analysis.
