Creativity is King

Okey Dokey. Pretty boring week in sports. How about McNabb? Did you know Joe Flacco is a rookie? Kurt Warner is old and good, etc.  So were gonna acknowledge the other side of sports; lookin fresh. Here is my list of best and worst uniforms of each sport (new and throwback).

NFL

New:

BEST-

Dallas Cowboys: Just a classy jersey with a unique look. This was a fairly easy on to pick as the majority of NFL teams have poor, poor uniforms. While Barber is a decent choice, I think Tank Johnson would be the appropriate choice.

WORST:

MN Vikings: Everything about this jersey is disgusting. Purple and Yellow, um…. Yeah. Good idea. Also, looking at the Jackson #7 on the back I can almost envision him winging passes to Bobby Wade. Have you realized that Tarvaris is such a poor quarterback that he’s not even good enough to throw interceptions; he simply can’t put it close enough for anyone to catch it let alone a WR.

Old:

BEST:

Warren Moon Houston Oilers: Great Jersey, Great Player.

WORST-

Ryan Leaf Chargers: I admit I had this Junior Seau jersey. Overall an average jersey, but with Ryan Leaf on the back drops it down a couple notches. I kind of want to by this so I can personally pick it up and slap whoever thinks you can charge money for these things. For your viewing pleasure.

NBA-

New:

BEST-

Celtics White: While many NBA teams feel the need to change their uniforms. The Celtics continue to put these jerseys out there and it’s brilliant. So simple and yet teams try to be flashy to try and provide excitement with their jerseys. The jerseys don’t matter, this still looks bad.

WORST-

Agent Zero Gold Wizards: These aren’t cool. Anyone who thinks they might be, is wrong. Gold and different does not make things better. Oh and Gilbert, Go away until you do something.

Old:

BEST-

Nuggets Throwback: Don’t need to say anything, just try and picture Carmelo in that. Dreamy.

WORST-

Toronto Raptors: Disgusting. I think that picture alone is what caused them to switch.

MLB-

New:

BEST-

Yankees. Say what you will about the Yankees. The pinstripes are the most the best jersey you can wear. This was a close second.

WORST-

Diamondbacks. They improved from their purple and teal of old, but these are still terrible. Besides who would you get a jersey of? The only way to go would to get it customized with something like , “Super Dad” and the Number 1.

Old:

BEST-

Cal Ripken Orioles. The Iron Man before Robert Downey Jr. Bonus points for the Holiday Inn Commercials.

WORST-

Chuck Knoblauch Anything. Pick your team Yankees (even Doug Mientiwehretghiczx looked good in these), Twins, or Royals. He made them all look bad.

NHL: (Ed. Note: not a major sport, so no major effort.)
