So I noticed I have been quite angry with a couple of my last posts, Ill blame it on the cold weather. But if Barack can bring about change, so can I (in other words, Yes we can). So I am going to provide you with an inspirational, uplifting post.I’m going to tell you the five best TV characters right now. They are all on here for different reasons, but they all provide some form of enjoyment for you. Some are less known than others, so I might be expanding your horizons. Let’s do it:
Warning: Highly inappropriate language.
5. Doug from Weeds:
Another show that has gone down a little bit in the past season, but is still very good, and Doug is a large part of that very good. In fact, I contend that the show is declining because his storylines are becoming smaller and smaller. While Nancy is always knee-deep in something, Doug offers us the lighter side of drug-dealing or immigrant-smuggling or whatever he is up to that week. Not to mention Kevin Nealon is perfect for this. The stoner role is one he has mastered (Think Grandma’s Boy).
4. Hank Moody from Californication:
Who would’ve thought Fox Mulder could be so entertaining. When I first watched this show I was amazed, I had no idea how much I liked David Duchovny. He plays this role to perfection. Playing the role of the smooth, ladies-man while still managing to be off-beat and down-right funny most of the time. Plus the news that Duchovny is a sex-addict only helps lend authenticity to the show and his character. Now that’s what I call method acting.
3. Johnny Drama from Entourage:
While many people feel Turtle and Ari are what make the show tick, it is truly Drama that makes this show watchable, if you can still call it that. They need to find something new that works. Was the Michael Phelps cameo really necessary? The writing is quite tired, but everything that Drama says, I find funny. I feel like i’m on a laughtrack for a sitcom, laughing after every sentence.
2. Jonah from Summer Heights High:
If you haven’t seen SHH or don’t know what it is, you need to do that. Right now. Essentially it is about one guy who plays three roles (popular girl, drama teacher, and troubled student) in a high school setting. While I admit I was skeptical at first, I was wrong. This show is fantastic. That being said, Jonah is the troubled boy. Essentially he does what we all wanted to in high school, whatever the hell we wanted. He is an avid break-dancer with a swearing problem. My words really can’t do him justice so just go out and watch an episode or six.
1. Eric Cartman from South Park: We all know Cartman. We all love Cartman. But i don’t think any of us truly appreciate what he brings to the table. Whether it is belittling a race or belittling a religion, it’s always good. At first, I wasn’t sure i wanted to put a cartoon first, but then I realized he has been doing it for 10+ seasons and no one else on the list can touch that.
Honorable Mention:
Jack Bauer of 24- Only on here because I’m afraid of what he would do to me if I didn’t.
If you have others let me know, but we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

I can add two…Tracey Jordan from 30 Rock and Andy Bernard from the Office. Still, a very solid list.

Don’t apologize for your negativity. Hating on stuff is what makes this blog worth coming to.
Wait…I’m the only one who thinks that? Fuck all you positive motherfuckers.
