If Wu Tang has taught us anything, it’s that you gotta diversify. With that being said Creativity is King would officially like to introduce its premier sports post. Hopefully this section of the blog can live up to the high standards of my esteemed colleagues.
Since football season is dying down and baseball is boring, we figured it would be appropriate to establish the official JGoods stance on the ten greatest hoopers of all time. While this idea may be a little played out, it will focus on far more than the little things such as what they actually do off the court; so sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself…
1. Michael Jordan: This is still first and foremost a sneaker site; who else was I gonna pick? Bonus Points for his excessive gambling and baseball experiment.

2. Wilt Chamberlain: Dropped 100 in a game, went to Kansas, etc. Minus Points: Shawn Bradley still pulled more girls.

3. Bill Russell: Won 9 championships wearing these. If you think that is easy, consider Marbury can’t even get on the court wearing these.

4. Lebron James: Can we talk about this whole chalk thing Nike is pushing with Lebron? It’s upsetting. The commercial is cool and all (Weezy F.) and rumor has it they’re gonna drop a shoe based on it, but they act like The Big Ticket hadn’t been doing it for years. Adidas should be ashamed of itself for not jumping on this.

5. Magic Johnson: 6 foot 9 point guard. Also finished second to Shawn Bradley in regards to best players forced to retire because of an STD.

6. Larry Bird: Thought about putting him higher, but then I picture a 1 v 1 game against Lebron. Lucky to play with McHale instead of for him. Excellent Mustache.

7. Kobe: Finishes lower than Lebron because of their street cred. Lebron is boys with Jay-Z. Kobe gets trashed by everyone from Nas to Shaq-Fu (tell me how my ass tastes).

8. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lew Alcindor): Invented/perfected the sky-hook. Loses points because I don’t like the whole name change thing, whether its Ocho Cinco, Stylez G. White (don’t get me started), or Kareem.

9. Shaq: Also finishes 9th on the list of best rappers of all time, slightly above Juelz.

10. Tyler Hansborough: More points at UNC than MJ. Also, Dick Vitale told me so. Oh and we didn’t want Larry Bird to be all lonely in the top ten.

There you have it. A lot of science went into this so if you disagree, you’re wrong.
