Best Blogger Alive?

Sports

Let me preface all of this by saying that I like Lil’ Wayne. I think that he is and  can be a creative lyricist that probably gets both hated on and loved more than he should.

However, for those of you who don’t know, ESPN decided it would be a good idea to give him a blog. In theory, it might seem like a good idea because he is imaginative and loves sports, and I was genuinely excited. After reviewing the play, the ruling on the field has been overturned and this has to be the worst thing he has done since whatever is going on in the picture above (although I love Kid rockin the Bironas jersey).

When i first started to read I thought maybe Weezy was gonna bring the hotness to an ever declining ESPN. While you should check it out for yourself, here are a couple of interesting tidbits I picked up:

Rashad McCants has looked awesome so far. Of all the rookies, I like what Beasley’s doing, it seems like he’s taking on the league. But Derrick Rose has been even more aggressive. He’s approaching his first season wonderfully.

A couple of notes on this.

1. The last time Rashad McCants looked awesome was at UNC. Unless of course, you consider jacking up fade-aways as awesome, then he is super-awesome. Kevin Ollie has started more games for the Timberwolves (think about that for a second.)

2. Wonderfully? Really? This leads me to believe Wayne isn’t writing this at all, and its actually my third-grade teacher ghost-writing.

Exhibit B:

Michael in Chicago: What is your favorite thing to eat at a ballgame?

“That is another great question. I always try to have some nachos, Michael. The nachos in New Orleans are so amazing I have literally missed the game because of ‘em. But I don’t eat jalapenos or anything too crazy like that because it’s not good when you have to use the bathroom later.”

Lets start with a round of applause for Michael from Chicago for his thought-provoking question that I myself have lost countless nights of sleep wondering. But lets focus on the response, if you are reading a blog by a rapper that considers himself the GOAT, wouldn’t you rather hear something like, ” the nacho cheezy in New Orleans be damn near hot as weezy, ya dig?”

Let’s finish with my personal favorite:

I’m gonna get also gonna get the famous Vince Lombardi quote about “Life’s three important things are family, religion, and the Green Bay Packers” tattooed somewhere.

Makes sense, except he copied me.

There you have it. Stick to rappin Weezy, leave the bloggin to the professionals like us here at Creativity is King.

If he is the best alive, no one is living then.
